Smoant Pasito Rebuildable Pod Kit is made by aluminum alloy material and it’d powered by a built-in 1100mAh battery, and assisted by Smoant ANT chip which allows it have five power levels adjustments — 10W, 13W, 16W, 20W, and 25W.
The pasito pod kit features a maximum 3ml e-juice capacity and an adjustable top airflow with leak prevention, guarantees the easy operation of the device. Package comes with a 1.4ohm Ni80 MTL coil-head and a 0.6ohm DTL Mesh Coil. and what’s more important it has a rebuildable deck (need order sold separately) for those who prefer DIY.

Impression of Pasito system pod kit:
The first impression has to be the packaging, usually it doesn’t really matter as long as the product is shipped safely but, in this case, Smoant obviously put a huge amount of effort into the packaging and it certainly increases the “feel good factor” for purchasers.
Despite a lot of places (including Smoant’s website) calling this a pod system, I disagree – it’s an AIO (all-in-one) system – while the tank/pod can be replaced, there shouldn’t be any need – just replace the coil-head or rebuild the deck.
For someone used to pod systems, it might seem a little larger than expected – but when remind yourself that it’s an AIO system with far more flexibility than a mere pod system it starts to make sense.
It all feels solid enough, the materials used are acceptable at this price point, however it lacks the special feel that some other companies offer.
Performance of Pod Pasito
Starting with the actual mod, there are five adjustable power settings (10/13/16/20/25w), these are displayed via a series of LEDs on the front of the mod – as is remaining battery power, on the subject of battery power the 1100mAh battery lasts really well.
The tank takes 3ml of juice and is refillable from the top – it’s one of the easier systems to refill. The coil-heads and rebuildable deck push in without any fuss from below the tank.
Both coil-heads perform really well, obviously the MTL coil-head performs best with more restricted airflow and lower power settings, while the DTL coil-head performs best with more open airflow and higher power settings – but they really aren’t fussy, if you want to use open airflow with the MTL or restrict the DTL, it’s not going to be a problem.
When it comes to flavor, neither coil-head disappoints however the DTL outperforms the MTL – this could come down to personal vaping style, I like restricted DTL vaping, so it’s perfect for me.
Coil-heads have a decent life and during my test lasted over 5 refills each – this is an acceptable coil lifespan and should allow you to enjoy plenty of vaping before starting to lose flavor, especially if you use the MTL coil-head combined with low power settings.
While the rebuildable deck certainly won’t match a decent single-coil RDA or RTA for performance, it’s pretty flexible in being able to offer both an MTL and restricted DTL experience depending on coil material, size, etc. However, while it is possible to fit a reasonably large coil in the deck, you will find the larger diameter coils become quite hard to wick, due to the large amount of cotton they use.
There is no ignoring the fact that the deck is tiny, this isn’t the hardest deck to build on and another with experience of working on traditional MTL atomizer decks will find it familiar, but it isn’t something I would recommend as a first rebuildable.
Pros of smoant pasito pod :
- Adjustable airflow settings.
- Both coil-heads last well.
- A rebuildable deck is available.
- Great flavor with both coil-heads.
- Excellent battery life.
- Type-C charging
Cons of smoant pasito pod system kit :
- Materials use are merely acceptable.
- The rebuildable deck is a separate purchase.
- The rebuildable deck is comparatively small and hard to work on.
I’m going to give a two-part conclusion for different types of user.
For beginners, pod system users or users who aren’t interested in rebuilding their deck, this is a great step up from the standard pod system – it offers so much more flexibility than a pod system, with two good coil-heads, adjustable airflow and adjustable power settings. It’s only let down by slightly cheap materials.
For more advanced users who are attracted by the rebuildable deck, please don’t think that this is going to replace your current rebuildable atomizers – it won’t, the deck is not as flexible or user friendly. However, if you compare it to the current selection of pod and AIO systems, this is a really well performing and flexible AIO system, the fact that it has a rebuildable deck is just an added bonus.
